It looks like the documentation of the [Hadoop Compatibility|
https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-release-1.5/dev/batch/hadoop_compatibility.html] is somewhat outdated? At least the text and examples in section [Using Hadoop InputFormats|
https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-release-1.5/dev/batch/hadoop_compatibility.html#using-hadoop-inputformats] mention methods
{{env.readHadoopFile}} and {{env.createHadoopInput}}
which do not exist anymore since 1.4.0.
