This issue tracks the removal of the deprecated/legacy interfaces that are still in the code and can only be removed once the move to the new Flink 1.2 checkpointing is completely in place.

So far, these are {{StreamCheckpointedOperator}} and the legacy snapshot methods on the testing harnesses.
