Currently, our (RabbitMQ) AMQP client is not tested in any integration tests.

Apache ActiveMQ implements an AMQP broker and they provide an embedded implementation we can use for the integration tests: http://activemq.apache.org/how-do-i-embed-a-broker-inside-a-connection.html
