{{flink-java8}} has a Scala dependency due to its dependency on {{flink-streaming-java}}. It deploys some examples and a test jar. However, the deployed jars are not necessary to develop or test Java 8 Lambda code.

I propose to disable deployment of the flink-java8 module and its test jar.
