This is an umbrella issue for the general problem of having a `ProcessFunction`-like functionality in SQL. Ideally, such an operator would be flexible enough to take and transform entire tables, might be stateful, and can work with event-time.
Oracle provides the concept of Polymorphic Table Function (PTF) [[1]|
