sunjincheng created FLINK-18041:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Make a little bit improvement for DEFAULT_FLUSH_MAX_SIZE and DEFAULT_FLUSH_INTERVAL_MILLS of AbstractJdbcOutputFormat
Key: FLINK-18041
URL:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-18041 Project: Flink
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Connectors / JDBC
Affects Versions: 1.10.1, 1.10.0
Reporter: sunjincheng
Recently, when some users are learning Flink, they encounter a big problem, that is, why Flink can't write to MySQL in real time.
The root cause is that there is little data when testing and the default value for DEFAULT_FLUSH_MAX_SIZE is 5000, and DEFAULT_FLUSH_INTERVAL_MILLS is 0.

So, I think would be great to make a little bit improvement for the default value. Such as
DEFAULT_FLUSH_MAX_SIZE = 1.
What do you think?
