We introduced {{TableSource#getTableStats()}} method in 147022cf7984b8e56d1e01e826d9640674837e68. However, as discussed with [~godfreyhe] and [~twalthr], the table stats information should come from a catalog and is part of a {{CatalogTable}}. {{TableSource}} is just a "connector" which shouldn't contain stats information.  We should remove this method before 1.9.0.
