Hey [~atsikiridis], I would really like to see the first version of the full hadoop compat layer merged before your mid-term. I know you are a bit blocked by [~twalthr]'s pull request, but either you help him with testing or we try to push him a bit. I'll talk to him on Monday to get an estimate on how long it will take. I'll also handle his pull request with priority.
I just wanted to let you know that it would be really good for your mid-term if your changes are merged into our code. (Usually, new contributors need a few additional cycles before we can accept a pull request). I'm currently looking a bit around in your current code and give you some feedback.

> *19 May - 27 June (Midterm)*
> 1) Work on the Hadoop tasks, their Context and the mapping of Hadoop's Configuration to the one of Stratosphere. By successfully bridging the Hadoop tasks with Stratosphere, we already cover the most basic Hadoop Jobs. This can be determined by running some popular Hadoop examples on Stratosphere (e.g. WordCount, k-means, join) (4 - 5 weeks)
> 2) Understand how the running of these jobs works (e.g. command line interface) for the wrapper. Implement how will the user run them. (1 - 2 weeks).
