Apply to contribute to Flink

Hi Guys,

I want to contribute to Apache Flink.Would you please give me the
permission as a contributor?My JIRA ID is lyee.

Hi Lee,

there are no special permissions required to contribute to Flink. The way
it works is that you write on a JIRA issue for which you would like to
contribute. Once a committer sees it you can discuss with him your solution
approach. Once she signs it off she will assign you to the ticket and you
can get cracking.

Hi,Lee

Welcome to Flink community!
Currently, you do not need a JIRA permission. Just ping committers if your want to work on some JIRA ticket and them will assign the ticket to you
And then you can prepare your PR and so on, you will get more details from the contribution guide[1].
